Board adopts 2026–2027 budget resolution

The Mason Consolidated Schools Board of Education adopted the 2026–2027 Budget Resolution during its June 17 regular meeting. Grodi moved to adopt the resolution and Nehrig supported the motion; the board recorded the outcome as "Motion carried, 6-0." President Jamie Otting presided over the vote.
The adoption followed a budget hearing during which the board also approved a separate resolution authorizing adjustments to the 2025–2026 budget. Waller moved to adopt the 2025–2026 budget adjustments resolution, supported by Grodi; that motion also carried, 6-0. The minutes list those two actions as formal board resolutions; the board did not record additional public testimony or amendments in the meeting minutes.
Board members heard no questions on the district financial reports presented by President Otting earlier in the meeting. The board also noted the next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Mason Senior High School Library.
