The council approved a Chapter 380 economic development agreement to extend utilities to 2538 South Main for a planned Buttermilk Skypie restaurant.
Ashley Seiler described the location as being "ripe for growth" and noted the design and construction will be handled in-house by Weatherford employees. Council members moved and seconded the item and approved the utility extension for the location.
The approval authorizes staff to proceed with utility extension design and coordination under the terms of the proposed Chapter 380 agreement; staff will return agreement documents as required for execution.
