Council approved a facade grant of $13,477.16 for 118 College Avenue to support renovation and reopening as Grass Stains Boutique.
Ashley Seiler told council the building will be stripped to the bare shell and receive plumbing, gas, electrical and HVAC updates; the owner expects the location could open for business by February 2026. Councilmember Heidi Wilder moved to approve and the motion passed.
Staff noted the owner is investing between $80,000 and $90,000 in the renovation and that $36,954.32 of that amount was applicable to the facade program prior to the program calculation that produced the grant figure.
