The Hasbrouck Heights Land Use Board met on Oct. 2, 2024, and unanimously approved the July 10 meeting minutes and two resolutions addressing local property matters.
Chairman Henry Dobbelaar opened the session by reading the Sunshine Law, saying "OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS ACT" before the board turned to routine business. Mayor Ron Kistner moved to accept the July 10 minutes as written, a motion seconded by Vincent Risalvato; the minutes were recorded as unanimously approved.
The board then considered Resolution PB-24-4 concerning Nicolino Di Iorio at 265 Harrison Avenue (Block 34, Lot 1). The motion to accept the resolution was offered by S. Risalvato and seconded by Albert Cupo; the board approved it unanimously as written. The board also approved Resolution PB-24-5 related to Prologis at 611 Route 46 (Block 136.01, Lot 6) on a motion by Albert Cupo, seconded by Vincent Risalvato; that resolution was likewise unanimously approved.
Those approvals were taken without extended discussion during the meeting. The board adjourned at 8:00 p.m. after opening a separate informal conceptual review for a proposed NJ Transit Access Link hub at 601 Route 17 (see separate article).
