The Roma ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda on Sept. 24, 2025, voting unanimously among present members to accept minutes from Aug. 11 and Aug. 27, bills and multiple monthly reports for August 2025. The board recorded the vote as 6-0 with one trustee absent (Karina Mascorro).
Board members reviewed financial materials including the August investment report, a financial update, an electricity usage report (presented for approval), transportation fuel-usage comparisons, the tax collection report and fixed assets report. Superintendent staff presented the student enrollment report showing a total of 5,960 students as of Sept. 18, 2025, compared with 5,953 on Aug. 27, 2025.
Mrs. Mary Lou G. Cruz moved to approve the consent items; Mr. Iv Garza, Jr. seconded and the motion carried 6-0. The board did not record specific discussion on individual bills during the meeting minutes.
