The Finance/Personnel Committee convened in closed session at 7:36 p.m. under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to discuss employment and compensation matters and later recommended full board support for several adjustments.
The minutes record three salary/contract proposals considered in closed session: a request to move Danielle's salary to $83,437.60 after completion of the School Business Manager Certification program (completed in December through UW–Whitewater); a proposal to move Angie Schubert to a 230-day contract with pay aligned to a beginning teacher rate (BS 1 = $46,700.91); and a request to adjust another administrator's salary to $160,000 for the next school year. Committee members asked the requester to leave the room for deliberations and recorded a committee recommendation in favor of the salary requests (4-0) to be presented to the full board.
The committee cited Danielle's role in increasing interest revenue and reducing costs through more efficient pay practices as part of the justification for her adjustment. The recommendations were forwarded to the full board for final action; the minutes show the committee followed required closed-session procedures under state statute.
