Bannock County commissioners opened a bid process for general architectural design services and acknowledged six statements of qualifications submitted in response to the county's request for qualifications. "We are here for a bid opening on architectural services architectural design services," the chair said at the start of the meeting.
The chair said one addendum had been issued to the RFQ in response to questions from prospective bidders and described the planned process: bids would be opened, acknowledged and then taken under advisement for legal review and compliance. A staff member told the commissioners the files were accessed via the county procurement webpage and that, to avoid delay, the bids had been unsealed in the staff member's office so a commissioner could read them into the record. The board then voted by voice to accept and acknowledge the submissions and to proceed with further review.
