Bike Utah selected to lead Springdale trails outreach with $20,000 grant support

Parks Director Ryan Gubler told the Council Springdale had been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation to support a two-phase trails project. After receiving three qualified proposals, the review committee recommended Bike Utah for community engagement work focused on outreach and public input for trails, and the Council approved that recommendation.
Council Member Pat Campbell and others asked whether Bike Utah had experience with unpaved trail types common in Springdale; Mr. Gubler said he believed the firm’s experience was broader than paved-bike projects and that Bike Utah would work closely with staff to address unpaved-trail concerns. Jack Burns moved to select Bike Utah and the motion passed unanimously.
