Council approves $28,250 invasive tree-removal agreement with Utah Conservation Corps

The Council approved the agreement and authorized the Mayor to sign.
The minutes record the total cost for five weeks of treatment as $28,250, with funding provided through a U.S. Forest Service Landscape Scale Restoration Grant. Town Manager Thomas Dansie explained Springdale’s cash commitment would be $10,000, with the remainder of the Town commitment to be provided as a soft match. The Town Attorney reviewed and recommended the agreement prior to Council action.
