Ms. Martha Santana presented Alfonso Borrego Sr. Elementary School’s monitoring of student progress and proposed Student Outcome Goals for the 2025–26 school year. During the presentation Trustee Myrna Hernandez asked who provides support to Special Education teachers; Ms. Santana said both campus Instructional Specialists and the district Special Education Department provide support and that the campus is seeking co-teaching training for general and special education teachers.
Trustee Alexis Tellez asked how many Special Education teachers are on the Borrego campus; Ms. Santana provided the campus count during the presentation (the minutes do not include the numeric total). The Student Outcome Goals and Goal Progress Measures for 2025–26 were included on the consent agenda for board approval.
