San Elizario ISD board approves multi-item consent agenda, tables nutrition pay-scale revision

During the June 11 meeting the San Elizario ISD Board approved a multi-item consent agenda with one item (5.F, Specialist - Nutrition Services Support Pay Scale Revision) tabled at the request of Trustee Myrna Hernandez. Trustee Sandra Licon made the motion to approve the consent agenda with Item 5.F removed; Trustee Axel Lopez seconded. The recorded vote was 5–0 with Trustees Eduardo Chavez and Monica Chavez absent.
The consent agenda included finance reports, requests for proposals (RFP #25-1166 for depository services), final payments for facilities work, multiple vendor purchase approvals (examples in the board packet included Labatt Food Service $1,400,000; County of El Paso $427,613; GH Dairy $145,000; Frontline Technologies Group $98,267.10), program agreements with Communities in Schools of El Paso and Boys and Girls Clubs of El Paso, the Bluebonnet Math curriculum adoption transition plan and an interlocal for School Resource Officers with the City of San Elizario (July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026). Several other vendor and contract approvals were recorded in the minutes.
