During correspondence review the board approved several facility-use waivers and community event requests. Councilwoman Sessa moved to waive the Community Center fee for American Legion Post 124 for its countywide veterans luncheon on Oct. 20, 2026; Councilman Appler Jr. seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The board similarly waived pavilion fees for the Marlboro Milton Lions Club for a youth fishing derby on Sept. 26, 2026.
A Cub Scouts Troop 72 request to clean Milton Landing on April 22, 2026 was approved but the board cautioned the group may need to adjust dates or choose alternate cleanup areas because of ongoing CSX construction. Mid Hudson Animal Aid was granted use of the Community Center at no charge on Nov. 8, 2026. Supervisor Corcoran read a resignation letter from Ed Mackey Jr., noting it was effective March 16, 2026; Councilwoman Sessa moved and Councilman Cauchi seconded a motion to advertise for the Board of Ethics opening, which carried 5-0.
