The board entered executive session at 7:16 p.m. to consider personnel matters and the superintendent's evaluation, then reconvened at 8:55 p.m. and took a series of personnel actions. The board accepted the resignation of Cook Andrea Harston and of Teaching Assistant Erin Gile by voice vote. It also accepted the resignations of Special Education teachers Cassidy McGaughey and Kensey Welch effective at the conclusion of the school year.
The board approved the employment of Madelyn Rupert as an elementary teacher pending successful completion of all state and local requirements. Hunter Moore was employed as a district secretary; Kurt Compton was employed as girls flag football coach; and Katherine Adams was employed as a bus driver. Most personnel items were moved and seconded by Nathan Kirby and Kassie Greenwood and passed by voice vote or roll call, with the roll-call hires recorded where noted.
