Hillsboro board will meet on the 3rd Tuesday each month in 2026–27

After considering options, the board voted 6–1 to schedule 2026–27 regular meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month; Mike Cerutti cast the lone no vote.
Superintendent McBrain presented three scheduling options for the 2026–27 board calendar: second Tuesday, third Tuesday or second Wednesday of each month. A motion by Bill Christian, seconded by Kassie Greenwood, set meetings for the third Tuesday. The roll-call vote passed 6–1; board member Mike Cerutti recorded the dissenting vote.
President Matt Lentz presided over the vote. The calendar decision will determine the district's regular public meeting dates for the upcoming school year and is posted with the district's minutes for public notice.
