Roma ISD approves $500 payment per designated teacher under Teacher Incentive Allotment

The Roma ISD Board voted Oct. 29 to direct payment of $500 per designated teacher to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) under the Teacher Incentive Allotment. Edgar Garza presented the item, noting the payment is to be made from the district general fund for 148 designated teachers.

Mrs. Yadira A. Barrera moved to approve the payment and Mrs. Mary Lou G. Cruz seconded; the motion carried 6–0.
