The commission approved several consent-agenda items without substantial discussion. The board accepted an energy-sales agreement between Detroit Thermal LLC and the Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority, approving the agreement as attached Exhibit A in case U-22133. The commission also approved repromulgation of telecommunication rules governing provider obligations when basic local exchange service ceases (case U-21958) and granted Consumers Energy ex parte approval of amended service connection fees (case U-22136).
Each item passed by unanimous vote as part of the consent agenda; commissioners noted the appointments of two new administrative law judges to the Michigan Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules, Judge Heather Durian and Judge Sarah Stancati, in the same meeting.
