Mayor Tony Pezze reported the village had received a letter requiring relocation of single-walled fuel tanks to comply with insurance distance and enclosure requirements.
Committee members discussed options for complying, including placing tanks 30 feet from buildings and 25 feet from the road and installing an emergency shutoff. CJ and Committee member Dees recommended contacting the village fuel supplier, FS, which staff said might furnish and install two 500-gallon double-walled tanks at the sewer plant. The committee directed staff to explore that option, confirm specifications and pricing, and report back at a subsequent meeting.
