An earlier, informal check by BLH produced no charge, Pezze said, and the village has not paid for prior preliminary work.
Trustees and residents discussed that some engineering materials for prior sewer work arrived on flash drives and that certain records are held at the sewer plant; Paso, a committee member who spoke during the meeting, said forensic analysis is the best technical option to recover layered or deleted data. The motion did not list individual votes in the transcript beyond "all ayes." The village announced that the public comment rules cited include 5 ILCS 120.2.06g.
