In the superintendent's report, S1 highlighted student programs and community partnerships, including the first certified nurse assistant (CNA) graduation and upcoming STEAM Expo and student film screenings.
S1 said the CNA graduation was "really, really great," and described the North Bay Construction Corps partnership and participation from Ukiah and Fort Bragg cohorts. S1 also announced public showings of a student-made movie called "Fentanyl High," with expert panels planned: March 25 at the Regal Theater in Ukiah and April 2 at Coast Cinemas in Fort Bragg; S1 noted the events are open to the public and suggested they are appropriate for ages roughly 12 and up.
Board members praised staff for program work and for organizing recognition events. Staff said they will circulate details for these community events and that public-health partners will help moderate the expert panels.
