A commissioner moved to approve the contract and the motion carried on a voice vote; the board directed that signatures be obtained to complete the agreement.
The contract was introduced on the agenda as the first substantive item and the county indicated the approval was a ministerial step to accept the reimbursement and allow execution of the paperwork. The board did not read additional contract line items aloud during the meeting and no effective date beyond the motion was provided.
