Spyglass Trails amendments and Phase 2 advance through planning commission

At its July 1 meeting the Hempfield Township Planning Commission moved multiple Spyglass Trails items forward: an 11th Amendment to the plan of lots and a completeness review for Spyglass Trails Phase 2.
Planner Matthew Pernelli summarized the 11th Amendment and said the applicant "is looking to subdivide the lot at the party wall." Christopher Hamm of KDH Consulting Engineers presented Phase 2, which the commission was told would include 56 single‑family homes and two duplexes; the planning module has been sent to MAWC and the applicant is awaiting tap‑in fee payments. The commission voted 6-0 to forward Phase 2 to Technical Review.
Separately, Scott Pilston of Pilston Surveying explained the Ross Lot Line Revision (PA‑26‑24), a ten‑foot increase moving a lot from 80 to 90 feet. That plan was forwarded to the Board of Supervisors with a 5-0-1 vote; Commissioner Scott Maritzer recorded an abstention.
