The Scurry-Rosser ISD Board of Trustees convened Feb. 20 and unanimously approved the consent agenda, which included minutes of previous meetings, the district budget report and subreports, student activity account reports, donations, and a board resolution regarding wage payments during emergency school closings. Trustee James Whittington moved to approve the consent items, Trustee Michael Wagner seconded, and the board recorded a 7–0 vote in favor.
The board also recognized the high school state cheerleaders and their coach during the meeting. The minutes list the superintendent and the board as presenting the recognition but do not include additional award details or individual student names beyond attendees listed in the meeting roster.
