Commissioners rescind prior appointee to public defender board and appoint Mike Jones

Commissioners acted on a request from members of the public defender board seeking a different appointee. The board rescinded its prior commissioner appointment to that board and then moved to appoint Mike Jones as the county’s representative to the public defender board.
Commissioner (speaker 2) presented the request and moved to remove the commissioners’ prior appointment; the board approved rescinding the earlier appointment and then voted to appoint Mike Jones to the public defender board. “So motion, to, add Mike to that board, Mike Jones,” the chair said as the board took the vote.
