The board accepted the resignation of William Krakower, science teacher at Memorial School, effective Jan. 4, 2026, and rescinded Mr. Krakower’s stipend positions (House Leader, Yearbook Advisor and Science Fair Co-Coordinator). The board also accepted the resignation of Daniela Skibinski, special education teacher, effective Jan. 13, 2026.
Separately, the board ratified paid administrative leave for employee ID #4880 for Oct. 20–24, 2025 and approved termination of the same employee effective Oct. 27, 2025. The board appointed Nancy Maglio as a maternity-leave replacement, at a per-diem rate of $175, effective Feb. 5, 2026 through the end of the 2025–26 school year. The board also approved assorted stipends for staff (for example, Lorraine Altomare $310 for Science Fair Co-Coordinator) and approved a retroactive class change for Alrick Douglas (to PhD, Step 7, $84,445).
