Management Analyst Jordan Schmidt explained the village issued an RFP, received four responses, interviewed three firms, and selected NewGen for its financial approach and referrals from neighboring communities. Trustees asked clarifying questions about the scope; Mr. Schmidt said NewGen’s timeline targets completion by fall of FY2026 to incorporate findings into FY2027 budget preparations.
The motion to approve the resolution passed by roll call vote 6–0. President Kaz confirmed the timeline expectations in the discussion.
