Commissioners raised three specific conditions during discussion: (1) fixtures must be hooded or shielded to limit light spillover into adjacent residential areas, (2) the color temperature should be warmer and matched to nearby Village streetlights, and (3) conduit should be concealed so it is not visible on the façade. Commissioner Paul moved to approve, Commissioner Joyce seconded; the roll-call vote recorded Armstrong, Joyce, Paul, Pilant in favor and three absences. Resident Rick Gordon asked whether the lights would be on overnight; Nash confirmed they would. Commissioner Armstrong additionally suggested dimmable fixtures to allow later adjustment if neighbors reported problems.
