Kenilworth board ratifies corrected warrants, approves nearly $966,000 in Class A payments

Management Analyst Jordan Schmidt told the board that an incorrect charge to an IT vendor had been caught and was being corrected, reducing the Class A warrant total. Trustee John Gottschall outlined Class B payroll items and highlighted Class A payments tied to the Lakefront Improvement Project and Kenilworth Police Department body-worn cameras. Trustees thanked staff for identifying the error and clarifying the charges before the vote.
The board approved the corrected Class A warrants of $965,877.82 and ratified Class B warrants of $126,718.10 by roll call, six votes in favor and none opposed. President Kaz declared the warrants approved.
"The payment was in the process of being corrected without penalty to the Village and resulted in a reduced total for Class A warrant payments for the month," Jordan Schmidt reported to the board.
