Royse City ISD received the highest rating on the state's Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST), CFO Byron Bryant told trustees during a public hearing Dec. 8.
Bryant presented the required FIRST Report overview and confirmed the district’s top rating. The public hearing provided the statutorily required forum to present the rating and allow comment; no public speakers were recorded addressing the FIRST report during the hearing.
The board closed the hearing and reconvened the regular session at 7:42 p.m. No corrective actions or qualifications were reported in open session; the district presented the rating as favorable.
