Commission on Aging director to retire; congregate dinners to pause in winter months

Commissioner Laurie Jamison reported that Commission on Aging Director Alice Snyder has submitted her retirement letter and plans to retire in March 2025 unless a replacement is identified sooner. Jamison said Snyder would be available on a remote contract basis if needed and that a committee has been established to find her replacement.
Jamison also reported that congregate dinners will pause from December through March based on survey feedback; special dinners and regular lunches will continue. The Commission on Aging is seeking volunteers and applicants for a cook position. "She will be retiring March 2025 unless a replacement is found prior," the minutes state.
