"That the Elected Officials of Crawford County can be a firewall between Lansing and the citizens of Crawford County," he said, and asked the Board to pass a resolution recognizing that concern.
Commissioner Frederick moved that the board pass a resolution opposing Act 74 with a spot hand count of early voting; Commissioner Goscicki and others expressed concern about placing the county clerk in legal jeopardy under election law. The motion was tabled for further research by commissioners before any formal resolution would be adopted.
