Housing director to re-bid full-rehab projects after no contractor responses

Housing Director Hannelore Dysinger told the Board she received no proposals on two bids for full rehabilitation projects in Crawford County with a Sept. 17 deadline. She said she has spoken with the homeowners and plans to re-bid the projects and proactively contact contractors to learn why they did not submit bids.
Dysinger said she is exploring expanding the county's contractor list to increase competition for future projects. "She plans to contact each contractor to find out why they did not bid on the projects," according to the meeting minutes.
