Board adopts $175,000 Community Corrections grant application for FY2025

The Crawford County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt the Northeast Michigan Community Corrections Advisory Board's FY2025 grant application, prepared by the Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG), for annual funding of $175,000 for programs and services.
Commissioner Kraycs moved to adopt the application and Commissioner Moore seconded. The roll call vote recorded Commissioners Powers, Goscicki, Lewis, Moore, and Jamison as voting in favor; the motion carried. The adoption authorizes the county to submit the application as part of its annual Community Corrections funding requests.
County officials said the grant would fund local programs and services administered through the regional advisory board and managed in coordination with NEMCOG and local corrections partners.
