After a presentation by Camp Grayling representatives Susan Thiel, Marcia Koppa and Jonathan Edgerly (via Zoom), the Crawford County Board of Commissioners voted to send federal legislators a letter requesting $50 million for a municipal water system and $20 million for Army airfield remediation.
The motion, made by Commissioner Frederick and seconded by Commissioner Goscicki, passed by roll call with Commissioners Frederick, Goscicki, Kraycs, Lewis, Moore and Jamison voting aye and Commissioner Powers absent. Supporters said the proposed funds would address infrastructure and remediation needs identified by the Camp Grayling RAB.
