Staff reported Battery Park received a TMUD award from the Ohio Department of Development and that the district has launched a marketing site. "They have received an award called they we call it the TMUD... It's a tax credit award... but it was critical piece of financing for that project to continue moving forward," staff said.
Staff said the district used an EPA brownfield grant for site cleanup and is constructing utilities and road bases; their plan is to demolish the pool and former Damon's building this fall and then begin construction on the Marina Services building as the first structure on site.
