Board approves 2025–26 Center Cass calendar; school year to run Aug. 20–June 2

Superintendent Dr. Wise presented the SY 2025–26 Center Cass School Calendar, which schedules the district's first student day for Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, and an end date of Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The presentation noted the calendar adds one instructional day and an additional institute day while reducing the number of half-days compared with prior years.
The board moved to approve the draft calendar; Brian Liedtke made the motion and Megan DuPass seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The board noted the change increases instructional time districtwide and staff will plan institute and assessment windows accordingly.
