Board ratifies five-year CCEA contract covering SY 2026–2030

Superintendent Dr. Wise credited Board President Liane Raso, Vice President Brian Liedtke, and Treasurer Doug Wiley for their roles in negotiations and described the process as collaborative. He outlined highlights of the agreement: more student instructional time at Prairieview and Elizabeth Ide, an additional instructional day for students, an additional professional development day for teachers, reduction of three half days, greater schedule flexibility for employees, increased development for paraprofessionals, and a more competitive compensation package to help with recruitment and retention.
Board members voted unanimously to ratify the agreement; the board recorded the motion as passed 7-0.
