Pasadena Humane waives adult adoption fees through Aug. 9 in summer promotion

Nick Rivas, host of the Rose City Report for Pasadena Media, said Pasadena Humane is waiving adoption fees for adult dogs and cats (6 months and older) during its Hot Dog and Cool Cats summer adoption promotion, which runs through Aug. 9.
"Pasadena Humane is waiving adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats 6 months and older during the hot dog and cool cats summer adoption promotion through August 9," Rivas said. He added that nearly 100 dogs and cats were available, that standard adoption screening applies, and that all adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, a microchip and age-appropriate vaccinations.
Pasadena Humane invited interested adopters to visit the shelter daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis and pointed listeners to pasadenahumane.org to view animals currently available. The bulletin did not list adoption fees for animals younger than six months or special requirements beyond the standard screening process.
Prospective adopters were advised to check the shelter website for availability and to confirm hours and any required documents before visiting.
