Treasurer reports 130 animals at rabies clinic; 100 dog licenses sold, foreclosures scheduled

Treasurer Kate Wagner told the board the rabies shot clinic was well attended with 130 dogs and cats and that approximately 100 dog licenses were sold during the clinic. Wagner said she is preparing for foreclosures scheduled for the end of March, has received 10 prior‑year proceeds forms so far, and will run advertisements in local paper and radio to notify property owners; the deadline for prior-year proceeds forms is March 31.
Clerk/Register Jamie McClain also reported that the City of Grayling and South Branch Township were selected for the November audit by the Bureau of Elections and named county staff who completed the process. Treasurer Wagner announced that dog licenses will be sold in the County Building lobby on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
