Camp Grayling to host May 31 emergency exercise; county to activate EOC

Emergency Manager Doug Pratt told commissioners the county will participate in a full-scale exercise at Camp Grayling on May 31 and will activate and staff the Emergency Operations Center that day. Pratt said the following week will include regional and statewide exercises also staged at Camp Grayling and that he will meet with SAAB at month-end to review response plans.
Pratt asked commissioners to note the dates for planning and staffing; no formal board action or budget request was recorded at the meeting.
