During the presentation councilors flagged a cost error on the project page; staff and council confirmed the FY 26/27 construction cost estimate for the listed work is $120,000, not the larger number that appeared on the page. Council members also discussed design details and accessibility: the overlook includes a stepped system with an adjacent handicap ramp to maintain ADA access.
Staff said they will refine design features to align with Railroad Square design elements where appropriate and bring revised plans back to council for any further direction or edits.
