Officials attributed the improvement to districtwide efforts including targeted interventions, recruitment and retention tied to a local teacher-pay referendum, and facility investments such as new and renovated school buildings. "All schools in Pasco County are ranked C or better," the presenter told the council and emphasized that districtwise gains outpaced statewide improvements.
