During public comment a representative of the Bill Murray Fire Rescue Association — speaking as association president — thanked town staff (Corey and Kristen) for helping move tables and chairs for the association’s event and noted children at town camp made 34 pies for the supper; the speaker also said the department had sold 45 challenge coins at $20 each. Board members expressed appreciation for volunteers and staff.
In updates, a board member said Camden National Bank financing meetings are scheduled as part of fire department planning and reported that the town closed out ARPA funding reporting on Aug. 3. The board also reminded seasonal residents that a meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 06:30 at the town office.
The public-comment remarks were brief and positive; the board used the update section to summarize operational items and schedule reminders.
