The Royal Valley USD #337 Board of Education adopted the meeting agenda and approved routine consent items and warrants at its Oct. 15 meeting in Mayetta. "Move to adopt the meeting agenda as presented," the record shows; the motion by Kelli Lambrecht, seconded by Joe Mitchell, carried unanimously.
The board approved multiple action items by unanimous votes. The board moved "to approve the snow removal pricing from Ehrhart Excavating as presented" and adopted an organizational resolution to add Taylor Holte as an authorized account manager on the district's UMB Bank credit cards; both motions carried 7-0. The board also approved the 2025-26 district crisis plan as presented following an executive session on school safety, and approved early graduation requests for Turner Long, David (Wataki) Lewis, Aiden Euwer and Katelyn MacIntosh. Personnel actions included accepting the resignation of Angela Wahweotten (RVES PK3 paraprofessional), with a last day of Oct. 24, and hiring KJ Miller (Head Softball Coach) and Ronin Gentile (evening Title VI tutor) for the 2025-26 school year.
The board recorded each motion's maker and seconder in the official minutes and noted vote tallies: all formal motions recorded in the minutes carried with seven yeas and zero nays. The board adjourned at 8:06 PM.
