The Town Board adopted Resolution 2026.6 declaring the pellet boilers installed in 2016 at Town Hall and the Town/County Highway Garage to be surplus and authorized the Supervisor to contract with a qualified contractor to decommission and remove the equipment and restore the premises.
The resolution requires sale of the surplus equipment at public auction or by sealed bid in accordance with General Municipal Law §507, with public notice published at least ten days beforehand; all net proceeds are to be deposited into the Town's general fund. The Supervisor, Highway Superintendent, and Town Clerk were authorized to carry out the sale and removal process.
