Staff advised that the district will provide an update at the May 6 meeting and begin the formal process to develop the FY25-26 budget. Public comment from a resident (Gail Wilkerson Dixon) urged clearer public messaging about the difference between city and sanitary-district duties and more frequent advisory committee meetings.
Council reconvened the regular city meeting after the sanitary district adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
