Athletics director updates board on Arbiter, GoFan and Hudl; practices set to begin mid-August

The activities director reported that the district has migrated to several outside platforms to manage schedules, official payments and fan ticketing. Arbiter Game will display games, times and locations; Arbiter Pay will be used to pay game workers and officials; Hudl will remain the district’s video platform; and GoFan will provide cashless ticketing options with the possibility of offering a multi-event pass on the platform.
The activities director said the registration process has moved fully online and praised the transition away from paper. He noted schedules and registration details will be refined as fall sports near: varsity practices start Aug. 17 and junior high football begins Aug. 24. He also noted his recent assignment to several State High School League committees that will require additional time commitments.
Board members asked about practical issues such as how fans find a game on Arbiter versus Hudl, who sets ticketing options and how to manage card readers for off-site events. The activities director said he is still working through those logistics and will coordinate with administrators to minimize confusion for families.
The board acknowledged the need for game workers and volunteers to set up Arbiter Pay accounts to receive payments and flagged the upcoming West Central Conference meeting on Aug. 19 as a district calendar item.
