Residents voice support for county policing policy on ICE and raise concerns about ConEd rates and local infrastructure

Several residents spoke during the April 7 public-comment period on a range of local issues. Katherine Goodman thanked the board for saving property owners money over the past eight years and said she supports the town’s move to the Westchester County Police and for officers to "not work with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)" given Mount Kisco’s immigrant population.
Wendy Reingold, who formerly lived in Mount Kisco, and Marianne Delaney of Bedford voiced support for the County Police and recent immigration-related measures. Louis Terlizzi raised an array of concerns including the proposed ConEd rate increase, the premature closure of Indian Point, alleged selling of drinking water, parking at Kirby Plaza, the proposed Leonard Park walking paths, and garbage receptacles on Main Street.
