On the CTE front, Clapper described a Team Oregon Build partnership that provided more than $30,000 in materials for students to build a tiny home that will be donated to people experiencing homelessness; students and CTE staff described construction milestones (electrical, drywall, windows, heater installation). Students and staff demonstrated drone flight simulators at the meeting; a staff member noted an alumnus had entered an aviation program after participating in the school's drone class.
“Team Oregon Build… we are given over $30,000 worth of material to build a tiny home,” Clapper said, describing the hands‑on learning opportunity and community benefit. The report emphasized workforce preparation and community partnerships rather than immediate budget impacts.
