Wayne Weinrich named September Spotlight Award winner

The Farmers Branch Senior Advisory Board voted unanimously to select Wayne Weinrich as the Spotlight Award winner for September.
A board member read a brief biography highlighting Weinrich's service at the Branch Connection since 2018, his past service on the senior advisory board (including as secretary), leadership in reestablishing the Monday-night mixer after the pandemic and his regular teaching contributions. "He's definitely well, well deserved of the award," one board member said during the nomination.
The board expects to present the award at the next breakfast; staff will coordinate the award presentation with Jennifer, who maintains the volunteers list.
