Committee recommends awarding $116,317 Sidewalks and Inlets contract to DPI Construction

At the July 28 Committee of the Whole meeting Trustee Mike Neville moved, and Trustee Sally Hollembeak seconded, a recommendation to the Village Board to award the CV Sidewalks and Inlets 2025 construction contract to DPI Construction, Pecatonica, IL, as the lowest responsive bidder at $116,317.00 from line item 5390 (Capital Improvements). The motion carried by voice vote.
The committee also approved an engineering services contract with C.E.S. for construction management services for the same project at a cost of $11,950.00 from line item 5095 (Capital Improvements). The engineering report for the project was placed on file with the permanent record, and staff will forward the recommendation to the Village Board for final action.
